These are a number of walks around Daventry which I have done personally with comments on accessability and points of interest.
Walk one:- An easy circular route taking around 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Walk two:- A circular route through Staverton, Badby and Newnham with Pub lunch available at Badby or Newnham. Around 5 hours.
Walk three:- An easy circular route mostly on quiet, surfaced lanes, ideal for winter, with a Pub lunch stop at Norton. Taking around 2 hours.
Walk four:- A longer walk over Newnham hill and Badby Down then to Badby for lunch returning as walk 2 either via Newnham or, in reverse via Staverton. Taking around 6 hours.
Walk five:- A walk to Braunston via the Country Park and Grand Union canal returning by bus. Taking around 2 hours. With an extension to Willoughby adding another hour.
Walk six:- A circular route through Kentle wood to Little Braunston (Pub lunch available) and back via canal and country park. Taking around 4 hours.
Walk seven:- A circular route through Staverton to Middlemoor (Pub lunch available) and back via canal and country park. Taking around 4 hours.
